I’m a mixed media and collage artist. I use my scissors to piece together a picture of shapes and textures to form a story which I hope will delight, engage, and stimulate the imagination.

Crankie Theater

A Crankie is a form of visual storytelling using a long, illustrated scroll that is wound between two spools inside a box. By turning a handle (the crank), the scroll moves, revealing a continuous sequence of images while a narrator tells a story or a musician plays. I fabricate my crankies out of old vintage suitcases using upcycled materials.

Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance, the City of Hot Springs Art Advisory Committee and Hot Springs Parks and Trails collectively produce the annual Art Moves outdoor exhibition which is made up of paintings, drawings, and/or photographs reproduced onto metal panels and displayed along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail.
